Marine Energy Collegiate Competition

Dear INOREans, our friends from the National Renewable Energy Labs and the  U.S. Department of Energy’s Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) are organising some interesting events as part of the MARINE ENEGY COLLEGIATE COMPETITION:

  • Attend the 2021 Marine Energy Collegiate Competition Virtual Pitches
Join WPTO and NREL for the 2021 MECC virtual pitches on April 26-27. Over the two-day event, the 16 teams will present their business pitches and detailed technology designs for their chosen markets, followed by the
Awards Ceremony on April 29. From systems leveraging marine energy to power offshore aquaculture to wave-powered desalination systems to provide coastal communities with potable water, this year’s MECC submissions proved to impress! Catch a glimpse of the 2021 teams’ stories and visit the MECC website for information on how to watch the competition!
  • Tune in to the 2022 MECC Applicant Webinar
    Join the
2022 MECC applicant webinar on Wednesday, April 21 to learn more about this year’s competition rules and timeline. Registration is required.

We hope that you find these events interesting and that a good crowd of INOREans is attending!
