The Ocean Energy platform (link) of Delft University of Technology has an open call for abstracts for the 4th International OTEC symposium, which will be held in the Netherlands on 25 & 26 October 2016.
The symposium is hosted both at TU Delft and at the Offshore Energy Exhibition 2016, gathering most of the world’s expertise on offshore technologies. Given the momentum and the increasing pace of development in this nascent industry, this year’s OTEC symposium will go beyond research and technology development and will also include the policy frameworks and support schemes needed to accelerate OTEC implementation. Attendance to the OTEC symposium includes free entrance to the Offshore Energy Exhibition 2016 with over 11,865 visitors in 2015, including technology developers, suppliers, finance experts and all other parties working on offshore energy solutions.
Also there is the opportunity to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. The deadline to submit an abstract is 8 August 2016. See this link for further instructions.
